Overview
This article will cover key updates that are live in Zengine.
- UI Accessibility Updates - Zengine’s interface has been updated to better accommodate accessibility needs. In efforts to improve Zengin’s UI incrementally we have implemented some accessibility changes. Updates include:
- Improved contrast of buttons and links
- Rounded button corners
- New Draft record display in Data View
- Improved Email History - Zengine now houses email history for both Auto Email and Bulk email in a new tracking system. Changes include:
- Centralized Plugin to track emails for both Auto Email and Bulk Email
- Removal of the Email Tracker Form
- Profile Mapping Error Handling - This update will display key information if there are mismatch errors
UI Accessibility Updates
UI Accessibility Updates
There are 3 major updates to Zengine’s user interface. The platform now accommodates better highlighting contrast in button and link rollovers, rounded button corners, and an improved draft record experience in Data View.
New Button Contrast
Button and link rollovers are now accessibility compliant with accessibility approved contrasting. Previously, button and link rollovers were hard to distinguish for specific users. With the latest update, button rollovers will be easier to see for platform users.
Round Button Corners
Buttons are now easier to detect and will help improve accessibility by offering a friendlier, safer appearance that reduces visual stress
Improved Draft Record Visualization
There are significant changes to the way draft records are displayed in Zengine. Previously, draft records were visually separated from non-draft records by displaying those records in grey.
We have changed this view to better accommodate accessibility needs and draft records will no longer display in grey.
New Changes:
- All records will maintain the same text color
- A new icon is being introduced to help visualize drafts from non-draft records. Hovering over the icon will show the message “Open Draft Record.”
- A new Drafts column type is accessible through the Show/Hide Column button which can add additional visual cues for draft records
Improved Email History
Zengine now makes it easier to access all email logs in one location by introducing an Email Tracker Plugin accessible in the Settings and Tools section.
Through the plugin, administrators will get access to vital email statistics as well as having the ability to search the history logs.
This update will eliminate the need to use an email tracker form and will remove the 500,000 record form constraint for email tracking.
Important - Please note that the email tracker form has been removed from your workspace. All historical information is accessible through the Email Tracker Plugin
Profile Mapping Error Handling
New error handling features have been added to Profile Mapping in Submission Portals to help administrators better identify issues during setup.
When setting up Profile mapping, errors in selection will appear to the right of the field being mapped.
