More Up-to-date Contextual Applicant Data with Ad Hoc Profile Mapping Previously, profile information was only copied to an application at the time the application was started by an applicant. Now you can force update it. Profile mapping can also be updated to the award form on an ad hoc basis. Before, review process, before disbursement in award cycle. Make sure that at the time you are relying on it, all of your applicant profile info that has been mapped over into any form within your process is up to date.
To trigger an update of profile data, on the form where you have Profile mapping set up, click the new “Force Update from Profile” button. Note, if an attempt is made to map incompatible fields, such as mandatory and optional ones, you will see new error messaging. |
Reduce Confusion and Increase Inclusivity with Appropriate Date Formatting for Users
People around the world use different date formats. A long request from Zengine customers who offer programs internationally has been the ability to adjust the platform defaults, in order to provide more clear information and a less U.S.-centric experience.
We’re pleased to announce you can now adjust the Date Format for end users in the Web Form Portal, Application Portal, Submission Portal, and Review Portal.
Here’s how: In the Portal Settings, select the new “Date Format display for [______] portal users” option. Then, choose the appropriate date format for your program participants.
You can select from:
- DD/MM/YYYY: Common in Europe, Asia, and elsewhere
- MM/DD/YYYY: Common in the United States and the system default
- YYYY/MM/DD: International date standard per ISO 8601
See image.
This selection will affect all date questions throughout the portal including any start and end dates, awards, and reports.

Enhance Clarity with Dates Formatted According to Your Preference as an Admin
We’ve also released the ability for admin users to select their preferred date format.
To adjust yours, in your profile General Settings, select the new “Date Format” option, and choose your preferred date format. Just as for end users, you can choose between: DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY (system default), or YYYY-MM-DD.
All dates, save those generated in reports, will now be reflected in your preferred date format, removing any annoying barriers to quickly understanding program timelines.
