Reporting Dashboard Enhancements

There are several areas where additional functionality would significantly improve the user experience and utility of the reporting dashboard feature.

• Reordering Widgets within a Section - Currently, once widgets are added to a section, their display order cannot be adjusted. This limitation often forces users to delete or recreate entire sections just to update the layout. Introducing drag-and-drop or manual reordering functionality would help dashboard management.
• Optional Title Field for Image Widgets - The Title field in the image widget is currently required, but not all images need a title. For example, when inserting a logo to brand a dashboard, the mandatory title creates unnecessary visual clutter. Making this field optional would enhance layout flexibility.
• Footer Text Field Across All Widget Types - Not all widget types currently support a Footer Text field. This feature would be extremely valuable for providing context or clarifying notes, especially when presenting complex or nuanced data to diverse stakeholders.
• Enhanced Layout Tools Similar to Form Builder - It would be helpful if the dashboard plugin offered similar layout customization tools available in the form builder to improve both the readability and aesthetic presentation of dashboards. For example, it would be very useful to have the ability to insert delimiters or visual separators between sections and support for markdown or a rich-text editor to better format text.
• Improved Export Functionality - Currently, not all widget types are exportable, which limits the ability to share complete dashboards with stakeholders. While exporting individual widgets can be useful, they often only convey a small part of the reporting story. The ability to export entire dashboards, ideally as PDFs or other shareable formats, would be extremely useful.

  I also agree. Dashboard enhancement, functionality, customization, font management (i.e., color, bold, italize, etc.) would be much appreciated by not only us who create them but our clients and customers who see them.
